We take a good deal of pride in the saws we buy and sell. To that end, we take care when looking at saws to select what we think can be serviceable. Some saws we have professionally cleaned and others we have left "as found". Primary reason is some buyers, collectors and filers want the saw in the as found condition.

Another thing we try to do is identify the maker of the saw as well as grade out each saw so that what we are offering is as stated on the inventory price list.

We do not sharpen the saws, rather we carefully clean them when necessary using a a multiple step process we have developed over the years to remove any rust by cleaning both sides down to the bare metal or natural patina.
